- Factors negatively impacting NCSE prognosis include older age, history of perinatal hypoxia, coma, and focal ictal EEG patterns.
- Absence of generalized EEG slowing was associated with a significantly better prognosis.
- Findings highlight key prognostic indicators for NCSE management in resource-limited settings.
