Summary

This study compared diffractive bifocal and trifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) after cataract surgery. The bifocal IOL offered superior near vision and reduced higher-order aberrations, while the trifocal IOL provided better intermediate vision and contrast sensitivity, with and without glare.
