Summary

Prenatal exposure to the organophosphate pesticide chlorpyrifos (CPF) in rats may impact social behaviors similarly to valproic acid (VPA), an autism model. CPF-exposed rats showed altered social novelty reactions in adolescence, with recovery in adulthood.
