Sesquiterpene Acids and Lactones from Inula Confertiflora with their Antibacterial Activities

Summary

This study isolated 15 terpenoids from the Ethiopian plant Inula confertiflora, detailing the structure of compound 1 and reporting X-ray crystallography for compounds 6 and 7. Several compounds showed moderate antibacterial activity against E. coli and S. aureus.
