Summary

This study analyzed Slovenian hops extracts and essential oils, finding extraction methods significantly impacted antioxidant and antimicrobial activities more than hop variety. Humulene epoxide II showed potential as an anticancer agent targeting BCL-2 and MMP9 proteins.
