Prediction of intravenous immunoglobulin retreatment in children with Kawasaki disease using models

- Model 9V showed significantly improved reclassification (NRI 0.15, IDI 0.07) and higher sensitivity (1) and specificity (0.875) in the validation cohort.
Conclusions:
- Model 9V, integrating cytokine profiles, lymphocyte subsets, and clinical characteristics, offers superior predictive accuracy for IVIG retreatment in KD patients.
- This model provides a novel and effective strategy for the early identification of children requiring IVIG retreatment.
- The findings support the use of Model 9V for optimizing treatment decisions in Kawasaki disease management.
