Comparison of CT acquired cardiac valvular calcification scores in hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis patients

Cardiac valvular calcification (CVC) severity was compared between hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD) patients before heart surgery. Neither HD nor PD duration significantly correlated with CVC presence, suggesting other factors influence calcification in end-stage renal disease.
