Epicardial fat volume and its association with cardiac arrhythmias in CT coronary angiography

Elevated epicardial fat volume, a marker of coronary artery disease risk, is linked to cardiac tachyarrhythmia. A threshold of 123 cm³ of epicardial fat predicts tachyarrhythmia with 80% sensitivity.
