Creatine transporter SLC6A8 is upregulated in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), with higher expression linked to poorer prognosis, especially in male smokers with lung adenocarcinoma. This suggests SLC6A8 is a potential therapeutic target for NSCLC.
