Summary

Certain human leukocyte antigen (HLA) alleles, specifically HLA-C*02:02 and HLA-C*12:02, are linked to an increased risk of chronic lymphoproliferative disorders in the Romanian population. Other HLA alleles demonstrate a protective effect against these conditions.
