Conclusions:
- Echocardiographic LAvol quantification methods are not interchangeable in CKCSs.
- LAvol measurement is superior to linear measurements (LA:Ao ratio) for detecting LA enlargement in stage B CKCSs.
- This highlights the importance of accurate LA volume assessment in early canine heart disease detection.
