Drug-coated balloons (DCB) show similar safety and effectiveness compared to drug-eluting stents for treating coronary bifurcation lesions. The EASTBOURNE-BIF registry found comparable rates of target-lesion revascularization and major adverse cardiovascular events in patients treated with DCB.
