Abstract:
37-year-old Colombian male with mass in the anterior region of the neck. Initial ultrasonography and computed tomography (CT) scan showed a large solid mass (67 × 20.7 mm), dependent on the thyroid isthmus. Total thyroidectomy (TT) was performed. The latest pathological and immunohistochemical findings showed a mesenchymal neoplasm compatible with primary thyroid leiomyoma.
