Elevated triglyceride-glucose (TyG) and trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO) levels predict major adverse cardiovascular events (MACEs) in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients. Combining TyG and TMAO improves risk stratification for these high-risk individuals.
