Association Between Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus and Eating Disorders: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

Individuals with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) have a significantly higher risk of eating disorders (EDs), especially bulimia nervosa and binge eating. Female diabetics are also at greater risk for insulin omission or misuse.
