Germline pathogenic variants (PVs) in succinate dehydrogenase type B (SDHB) significantly increase the risk of pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas (PPGLs). Lifelong surveillance is recommended due to age-dependent penetrance and risks of metastatic disease and secondary tumors.
