Non-union of fractures of the mandible

Non-union of the mandible was evaluated over a twenty one year period (1960-1980). Seven cases were found in a total of 853 examples--an incidence of 0.8 percent. In this paper we examine these cases and review the literature concerning its incidence. Thereafter we present the different types of treatment and the results these produce in the management of non-union.
