Long-term outcomes after haploidentical stem cell transplantation for hematologic malignancies

Posttransplant cyclophosphamide (PTCy) improves haploidentical stem cell transplant (haplo-SCT) outcomes. Patients alive and disease-free at 2 years post-haplo-SCT show excellent long-term survival, with age being the only negative predictor.

- Late relapses are uncommon, and non-relapse mortality is low in this cohort.
- Age is a critical factor influencing long-term outcomes in PTCy-based haplo-SCT.
