Novel anthropometric indices for predicting type 2 diabetes mellitus

Waist-to-height ratio (WHtR), body roundness index (BRI), visceral adiposity index (VAI), and waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) are effective predictors of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) in relatives of diabetic patients. These anthropometric indices show promise for early T2DM risk assessment.
