Abstract:
The discovery of driver mutations in myeloproliferative neoplasms has significantly contributed to the management of patients with essential thrombocythaemia (ET). High-quality evidence has started to pave the way for targeted therapy. The review by Ferrer-Marín et al. further advances this discussion, highlighting how molecular profiling, including non-driver gene mutations, is set to revolutionize personalized treatment approaches for ET patients.
