Urolithin A affects cellular migration and modulates matrix metalloproteinase expression in colorectal cancer cells

Urolithin A (UA), a gut-microbiota metabolite, inhibits colon cancer cell growth, migration, and metastasis. This study suggests UA may serve as an effective adjuvant therapy for colorectal cancer (CRC).
