[Localization of a gene responsible for ozone sensitivity in Escherichia coli]

A gene, ozrC, responsible for sensitivity to ozone in Escherichia coli, was localized on the E. coli chromosome between argEH and metA by means of analysis of cotransduction frequencies of the gene ozrC with certain gene markers in the malB region of the chromosome.
