Surgical clipping and 3D-CTA do not harm kidney function in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. Renal function even improved in some CKD patients after the procedure.

- Evaluate the effects of perioperative 3D-CTA and surgical clipping on renal function in CKD patients.

- Retrospective analysis of 529 patients undergoing surgical clipping and 3D-CTA.
- Patients stratified by estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) into four groups based on CKD severity.
- eGFR assessed preoperatively, 1 week, and several months postoperatively.

- No renal function deterioration observed post-procedure in any CKD group.
- Significant eGFR increase noted 1 week postoperatively in patients with moderate CKD (eGFR 45-59 and 30-44).

- Findings support the use of these procedures for CKD patients with intracranial aneurysms.
