A Randomized Controlled Trial Comparing Collagen Matrix to Hemostatic Gelatin Sponge as Socket Seal in Alveolar Ridge

A collagen matrix significantly improved soft tissue thickness and height compared to a gelatin sponge in alveolar ridge preservation (ARP). Both materials effectively preserved bone, but the collagen matrix offered superior soft tissue maintenance.
