Headache is consistently one of the most common complaints reported by patients in the medical setting worldwide. Headache can be a symptom of another condition or illness, secondary to the disruption of homeostasis, or can be a primary disorder with inherent variability and patterns. Headache disorders, whether primary or secondary, can cause significant disability and loss of quality of life for those affected.
