Long-term hyperuricemia impact on atrial fibrillation outcomes

- Hyperuricemia is independently associated with increased all-cause mortality in atrial fibrillation patients.
- Elevated serum uric acid levels predict a higher risk of hospitalization for heart failure in AF patients.
