Summary

The anatomical snuffbox arteriovenous fistula (SBAVF) is a viable alternative to the wrist radiocephalic arteriovenous fistula (RCAVF) for hemodialysis vascular access. This study found SBAVF to be a suitable first-choice option for patients requiring vascular access.
