Thyroid Dysfunction Risk After Iodinated Contrast Media Administration: A Prospective Longitudinal Cohort Analysis

Iodinated contrast media (ICM) can rarely cause long-term thyroid dysfunction, even in iodine-sufficient individuals. Targeted monitoring is recommended after ICM administration to detect potential thyroid issues.
