RETRACTION: A randomized trial of local endometrial injury during ovulation induction cycles

The above article, published online on 11 April 2017 in Wiley Online Library (wileyonlinelibrary.com), has been retracted by agreement between the journal Editor-in-Chief, Professor Michael Geary, the International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics, and John Wiley and Sons Ltd. Concerns were raised by a third party about inconsistencies in the data of this article and the authors were asked to provide an explanation. The authors responded to the journal's inquiry, but could not share original data. Following the authors response, an independent review concluded that the sample size calculations were not reproducible, that the analysis of live births was misreported, and that, due to the absence of original data, the journal was not able to reproduce the calculations for relative risks reported in the manuscript. The journal has determined that these errors fundamentally compromise the conclusions of the article and that they could not be addressed by a correction. As such, the journal is issuing this retraction. The authors disagree with this retraction.
