Summary

Reduced thyroid hormone sensitivity is linked to impaired lung function in euthyroid individuals. Higher Thyroid Feedback Quantile-based Index (TFQI) and lower Free Triiodothyronine/Free thyroxine (FT3/FT4) ratios indicate increased risk for obstructive and restrictive lung disease.
