Inflammation-based scores like the Lymphocyte-to-Monocyte Ratio (LMR) and Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) can predict treatment response in intermediate-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) patients undergoing transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE). Early identification of TACE refractoriness is key for personalized therapy.
