  • Key themes identified included the shift towards constructivist assessment approaches, formative assessment (FA) and feedback strategies, implementation challenges, and various technology-enhanced assessment methods (online tests, video feedback, e-learning, workplace-based assessments).

Conclusions:

  • Constructivist assessment tools like concept maps, portfolios, and rubrics are effective.
  • Enhancing student involvement in formative assessment can be achieved through self-regulated learning, peer feedback, online formative assessments, and narrative feedback in assessments like mini-CEX.
