Dog-assisted physiotherapy in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis: a randomized controlled pilot study.

Animal-assisted therapy (AAT) significantly improved motor and psychological symptoms in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) patients. This dog-assisted therapy shows greater benefits than traditional physiotherapy for ALS rehabilitation.
