Summary

Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) did not significantly improve cognitive function in individuals with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). This meta-analysis found no significant difference compared to sham stimulation, suggesting tDCS is not currently an effective intervention for MCI cognitive enhancement.
