Summary

The dorsal septal cartilage (DSA) has less glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) and more collagen than quadrangular cartilage, potentially causing nasal valve compromise (NVC). Patients with NVC showed the lowest GAG and highest collagen levels in DSA.
