Serum AXL is a potential molecular marker for predicting COVID-19 progression

This study found that levels of angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) and Tyrosine protein kinase receptor UFO (AXL) decrease in COVID-19 patients. AXL shows promise as an early predictor of severe COVID-19 progression.
