Summary

The study compared four melanin removal methods for malignant melanoma tissues. Warm hydrogen peroxide effectively removed melanin, improved staining, and preserved DNA quality, making it ideal for molecular detection. Trichloroisocyanuric acid was efficient for immunohistochemistry but degraded DNA.
