Summary

Roux-en-Y gastric bypass successfully treated a child with Rapid Onset Obesity with Hypoventilation, Hypothalamic, and Autonomic Dysregulation (ROHHAD) syndrome. The surgery improved obesity, autonomic dysfunction, and gut microbiome, offering a new therapeutic avenue.
