Abstract:
The clinical and physiologic characteristics of alcohol-associated cardiomyopathy are presented. These data presented consist of a review of the signs, symptoms, prognosis, and electrocardiographic and physiologic effects of alcohol administration or use. In addition, the histologic appearance of the heart muscle in alcohol-associated myocardial disease is described.
