    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate waiting and treatment times in the surgical emergency department of Souro Sanou National Teaching Hospital (SSNTH).
    • To identify factors associated with delays in patient care within the SSNTH surgical emergency department.

    • Retrospective analysis of 380 patient records in the surgical emergency department.
    • Data collection on waiting times, treatment durations, and associated factors.
