European Committee on Antimicrobial Susceptibility Testing (EUCAST) established epidemiological cut-off values (ECOFFs) for Bacillus anthracis antimicrobial susceptibility testing. This enables sensitive detection of resistance mechanisms and monitoring of resistance development.
