QTc interval changes among patients on psychotropic medications: A prospective observational study

This study found that newer psychotropic medications generally do not cause significant QT interval (QTc) prolongation in young, healthy patients. Escitalopram showed a notable effect on QTc compared to other tested psychotropics.

- Escitalopram warrants specific attention regarding its effect on QTc in this population.
