Summary

Longitudinal studies reveal cognitive changes in multiple sclerosis (MS) are linked to MRI-detected brain changes. Specifically, Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT)/Paced Auditory Serial Addition Test (PASAT) and verbal fluency correlate with T2 lesion volume and atrophy.
