Background:

Purpose of the Study:

  • To analyze the association between apical lesions and maxillary sinus changes.
  • To evaluate diagnostic agreement among endodontists, radiologists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, and otolaryngologists.

Main Methods:

  • Analysis of 385 multi-slice computed tomography (MSCT) scans (axial, coronal, sagittal) from 2018-2022.
  • Evaluation of apical lesions, sinus floor discontinuity, mucosal thickening, and previous endodontic treatment.
