[Differential sonographic and computer tomographic diagnosis of angiomyolipoma]

3 angiomyolipomas were found in 8,500 CT examinations of the abdomen. The diagnosis was established preoperatively by both computed tomography and sonography. The densitometrically negative density values that are considered to be principal signs in computed tomography, must however be refuted by us. In all cases under investigation we found density values above 40 HU.
