    • An interactive panel discussion featured SOPA athletes and staff sharing personal health experiences.
    • Health professions students and trainees attended the event.
    • A mixed-methods survey assessed attendee satisfaction and learning interests post-event.

    Main Results:

    • High attendee satisfaction (88%) was reported.
    • 100% of attendees expressed interest in future training.
    • Attendees showed significant interest in learning to communicate with, care for, and address health barriers for patients with IDD (88-91%).

    Conclusions:

    • Collaborative models are promising for improving health equity for individuals with IDD.
