Predictors of Local Invasion in Infiltrative Basal Cell Carcinoma: Tumour Budding Outperforms the WHO Subtyping

Tumour budding (TB) is a valuable biomarker for local invasiveness in basal cell carcinoma (BCC). Counting TB foci in BCC can help guide treatment decisions, especially in cases with narrow surgical margins.
