    Summary

    Omnipaque (iohexol) and Telebrix (ioxithalamate) showed similar radiological quality in intravenous urography. Omnipaque resulted in fewer subjective reactions and less warmth sensation compared to Telebrix.

    Background:

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare the efficacy and safety of Omnipaque (iohexol) versus Telebrix (ioxithalamate) for intravenous urography.
    • To evaluate subjective and objective patient responses to both contrast media.

    • A comparative study involving 48 patients undergoing intravenous urography.
