To investigate the changing roles of healthcare CEOs, CIOs, and executive leaders in the post-pandemic era.

To understand how healthcare organizations are building digitally savvy leadership teams.

Conducted 51 interviews with CEOs, CIOs, and executives from 33 US nonprofit health systems.
Interviews took place between October 2022 and May 2023.
Explored leaders' backgrounds, technology integration in strategy and operations, and leadership characteristics.
