Surgical approach to failed cervical cerclage. A report of three cases

Failed cervical cerclage, which requires removal of the suture for hemorrhage, infection or cervical dilation, may offer an opportunity for another cerclage during the same pregnancy. In three cases a variant of the McDonald technique was used to successfully complete pregnancy.
